Police found Donell Watson at 8:40 p.m. on West Market Street in Newark, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said. He was taken to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead an hour later, authorities said.
The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made, authorities said.
